Funny Hands was founded in 2016 by people who had spent their careers in live television.

What We Do
We plan, crew and deliver live broadcasts, live streams and outside broadcasts for clients across sports, entertainment, corporate communications and awards events.
Our productions span sports presentation for global motorsport events, broadcast-standard corporate town halls for major organisations, live music and entertainment content for global brands, awards ceremony broadcasts, and live streams reaching audiences worldwide.
Whatever the format, the objective is always the same: a production that looks great, runs smoothly and gives the audience something genuinely worth watching.
Our Production Credits
Formula E. Funny Hands Media held the full Sports Presentation contract for Formula E across multiple seasons — managing complete on-track broadcast production at circuits across Europe, the Middle East and beyond. Sports Presentation for a global motorsport series is one of the most logistically demanding environments in live television. We delivered it to broadcast standards, season after season.
Paramount. When the President and CEO of Paramount Global came to the UK for a company-wide Town Hall — live streamed to employees worldwide — Funny Hands produced the show. We have delivered similar broadcast-standard productions for MTV and Utility Warehouse.
British Independent Film Awards. We produced the live broadcast for BIFA — delivering a red carpet and ceremony broadcast to television standards for one of the most high-profile independent film events in the UK calendar.
Entertainment and music. We have produced live events, artist content and live streams for Disney, Warner Music, EMI and YouTube, including productions from YouTube Space London.
Motorsport support. We have worked in a supporting broadcast capacity at Formula 1 events, alongside the official F1 production team.

Our Team
Our Producers, Directors, Vision Mixers, Camera Operators, Floor Managers and Sound Supervisors are broadcast-trained television professionals. Most have spent years — in many cases decades — developing their expertise in live television and outside broadcasts.
At Funny Hands, our Producers produce. Our Directors direct. Our Floor Managers run the studio floor. Our Camera Operators focus on capturing great pictures. Our Sound Supervisors concentrate on delivering excellent audio.
Great productions don’t come from having the biggest crew or the most equipment. They come from having the right people, in the right roles, working together towards the same goal.
Our Approach
No two productions are the same, which is why we don’t approach them all in the same way. Sports presentation at a motorsport circuit requires different skills to a corporate town hall. A live music event requires different experience to an awards ceremony broadcast.
One of the strengths of Funny Hands is understanding those differences and building the right team for each production.
